Job summary

Advance Services, Inc. seeks experienced Production Supervisors for 2nd and 3rd shifts to lead daily manufacturing operations in a food processing environment in Minnesota.

You will ensure safety, quality, productivity, and customer requirements are met while guiding a team of production employees. Responsibilities include supervising shift operations, coaching staff, monitoring performance data, implementing improvements, and maintaining records.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of production supervisory experience, preferably in food manufacturing.
• Proven leadership and team management skills.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Ability to learn and utilize SAP.
• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work extended periods standing/walking.
• Ability to obtain forklift, pallet jack, and aerial lift certifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily shift operations and production employees.
• Ensure compliance with safety, GMP, food safety, quality, and company policies.
• Monitor production performance, labor, materials, and equipment.
• Conduct shift meetings, provide direction, and maintain effective communication.
• Coach, develop, and manage employee performance.
• Identify and resolve production, safety, quality, and productivity issues.
• Implement process improvements and corrective actions.
• Ensure production lines are ready for start-up and changeovers.
• Maintain accurate production, labor, material, and payroll records.
• Analyze performance data and identify opportunities for improvement.
