The Simplot Company in Grand Forks, ND is seeking a sanitation associate to keep surfaces and equipment clean in a food processing area. The role involves following SOPs, recording chemical use, and maintaining a safe work environment.

You will contribute to training and ensure compliance with safety policies in a team-based setting. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, be able to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in demanding environments with PPE.

Qualifications

• Must stand on concrete floors for long periods.
• Able to perform basic arithmetic operations.
• Able to work in confined spaces and wear PPE.
• Must distinguish colors clearly.
• Must have manual dexterity for handling equipment.
• Able to work with hazardous chemicals safely.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and pushing/pulling heavy barrels.

Responsibilities

• Maintain food surface and equipment sanitation per procedures.
• Record chemical usage in the Chemical Log.
• Transport chemicals safely between rooms.
• Perform regular cleaning duties as assigned.
• Monitor and document foaming and sanitizing solutions.
• Assist with training to ensure proper sanitation practices.
• Maintain forklift certificates where required.
• Participate in training activities and follow policies.
• Interface with team and support groups toward goals.
