Job summary

Jack Link’s Protein Snacks is seeking sanitation workers to maintain cleanliness of the facility, following GMPs and HACCP standards. You will apply cleaning chemicals, perform high- and low-temperature wash downs, and support pre-operation inspections at a fast-paced meat snack plant in Wisconsin.

The role requires strong attention to detail, compliance with safety protocols, and ability to work on Fri-Sun shifts with early hours. Eligible benefits include medical, dental, vision and more.

Qualifications

• Required Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Preferred Experience: Cleaning or chemical sanitation experience/training or equivalent.
• REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE and ABILITIES: ability to organize and prioritize, follow LOTO procedures, communicate effectively, lead and motivate team.

Responsibilities

• Clean facilities and equipment in proper sequence to enable pre-op inspection and start-up.
• Apply chemicals for cleaning, degreasing and sanitizing using sprayers and hoses.
• Perform hot and cold water wash downs for equipment, floors and walls.
• Clean equipment parts, overheads, units, pipes and lights.
• Gathers trash, transports to trash compactor and maintains clean work areas.
• Follow GMPs, HACCP, SOPs and SSOPs.
