Job summary

Buckhead & Newport Meat and Seafood in Las Vegas, NV seeks a Plant Manager to lead the facility, report to the Region President, and drive day-to-day operations with a focus on safety, quality, and productivity.

You will oversee budgeting, SOP development, and KPI-driven improvements, coordinating with teams to meet corporate goals and customer expectations while maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering or Agriculture preferred or min 10 years’ experience in operational leadership.
• Minimum 10 years plant leadership in food production, manufacturing, costing, and distribution experience.

Responsibilities

• Facility leadership and general management activities.
• P&L responsibility for the Facility through creating and managing budgets that help achieve financial goals.
• Develop processes that maximize safety, quality, and productivity.
• Ensure compliance with health/safety regulations and procedures.
• Assist in recruiting, hiring, retention, and developer of associates.
• Strategically create and adjust department activities, policies, and procedures to meet KPIs and customer satisfaction.
• Writes and adjusts SOPs to ensure standardization across the network.
• Leads Gemba walks and drives improvements based on findings.
• Identify and act on problems to improve operation efficiency.
• Ensure DOT regulations are met in transportation.
• Develop key metrics/indices to drive daily, weekly, monthly, and annual results.
• Serve as a facility spokesperson for inquiries and market activities.
• Maintain high quality/safety standards per specifications and audits.
