DSJ Global is seeking a Plant Manager to oversee a large-scale Chicago production facility. You will drive operational performance, lead cross-functional teams, and uphold top safety and quality standards.

The role requires 6+ years of plant leadership, expertise in Lean/Six Sigma/TPM, and a proven track record in cost control and continuous improvement. Strong collaboration with stakeholders and data-driven decision making are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business, or related field.
• 6+ years of progressive plant management experience in food/beverage/packaged goods.
• Strong understanding of food safety, quality systems, and regulatory compliance.
• Proven ability to lead high-performing teams with accountability and engagement.
• Track record of improving operations via Lean/Six Sigma/TPM and continuous improvement.
• Experience managing budgets, KPIs, capital projects, and cost-saving initiatives.
• Strong analytical, problem solving, and data-driven decision making.
• Lean, Six Sigma, or related certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead all day-to-day plant operations (production, maintenance, warehouse, quality).
• Develop and mentor supervisors and salaried leaders.
• Align production schedules and resources to meet demand and maximize efficiency.
• Maintain food safety, quality and regulatory compliance; drive improvements.
• Promote a strong safety culture through training and audits.
• Manage labor, materials, and OPEX; identify cost-reduction opportunities.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to meet service, quality and ops goals.
• Lead Lean, Six Sigma, TPM and other excellence initiatives.
• Monitor KPIs and report performance in reviews.
