Socket.dev seeks a results-oriented Plant Manager to direct daily operations in a food manufacturing facility. You will oversee safety, quality, and cost controls while driving productivity and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

  • 4 year college degree in Business Administration or related field.
  • 3–5 years of related experience in food manufacturing or similar environment.
  • Experience supervising and developing subordinates in a plant setting.
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA, FDA, HAACP regulations and GMPs.

Responsibilities

  • Direct the operation of the facility to meet quality, food safety, and customer requirements.
  • Manage activities for safety, legality, and product quality.
  • Develop and implement plans to improve productivity and safe working conditions.
  • Review costs and inventory control to maintain profitability.
  • Provide direction and leadership to production supervisors.
  • Monitor production schedules and ensure product quality.
  • Participate in capital budgeting and reporting progress.
  • Implement TPM initiatives and continuous improvement programs.
  • Ensure compliance with quality management systems and policies.
