Job summary

LeoForce in Delphos, Ohio is seeking a hands-on Mechanical Engineer to design, modify, specify, and validate equipment for our food-manufacturing operation. You will develop new solutions, modernize production and packaging equipment, and ensure designs are sanitary, maintainable, and reliable.

Responsibilities include creating 3D models and fabrication drawings, BOMs, and supporting fabrication through startup.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent mechanical-design experience.
• Minimum of three years mechanical-design experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with 3D CAD and complete fabrication drawings.

Responsibilities

• Design and fabricate production and packaging equipment with 3D models and drawings.
• Specify materials, tolerances, finishes, and fabrication requirements.
• Perform engineering calculations for loads, deflection, and safety.
• Coordinate fabrication through internal and external teams; maintain BOMs.
