Job summary

Lone Star Dairy Products in Texas seeks a Maintenance Team Member for our high-speed food production facility. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot, and repair pumps, pasteurizers, valves, and packaging systems while ensuring safety, GMP, HACCP, and sanitation standards.

Key duties include reading meters, maintaining documentation in CMMS, completing work orders, coordinating with multiple departments, and keeping tools and equipment well cared for.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Working knowledge of plant maintenance operations preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair production equipment including pumps, pasteurizers, high-pressure pumps, evaporators, dryers, churns, valves, and packaging systems.
• Maintain and repair support equipment such as boilers, air compressors, chillers, and HVAC systems.
• Perform daily utility readings and monitor system performance.
• Handle chemicals used in support equipment operations and perform required testing.
• Fabricate and install equipment and piping systems; document changes in CMMS.
• Submit daily shift reports and track labor, parts, and tasks.
• Ensure work is completed safely, accurately, and on schedule.
• Collaborate with employees across departments and maintain professional relationships.
• Stay current on required training and certifications; follow GMP and HACCP guidelines.
