Job summary

Futures Consulting seeks an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead the safe maintenance, repair, and replacement of plant equipment and systems in a manufacturing environment in Illinois.

You will plan, schedule, and provide technical solutions to maximize production quality and throughput, while managing a team of maintenance professionals and ensuring adherence to safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 5 years in maintenance in process manufacturing.
• Experience in a food production environment is preferred.
• Supervisory or managerial experience required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and manage maintenance programs.
• Oversee purchasing and inventory of parts.
• Ensure safety programs and regulatory compliance.
• Lead and train maintenance staff; conduct performance reviews.
• Develop CMMS for work orders and history.
• Aim to minimize downtime and reduce costs.
• Generate reports to improve plant operations.
