Bil-Jac Foods, Inc. in Berlin, MD seeks a Maintenance Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of the Maintenance Department, providing hands-on support for production equipment, facilities, and utilities.

The role drives preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement to minimize downtime and optimize reliability. You will develop maintenance programs, supervise staff, ensure GMP/HACCP compliance, and coordinate with contractors while maintaining accurate records and safety

Qualifications

Strong knowledge of industrial maintenance practices, electrical and mechanical systems, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance programs.
Experience managing maintenance personnel in a manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, food safety standards, OSHA regulations, and Lockout/Tagout procedures.
SQF, SILLIKER Audits or BRC experience preferred.

Responsabilités

Direct and oversee daily activities of the Maintenance Department with efficient use of personnel and resources.
Develop, implement, and maintain preventive and predictive maintenance programs for production equipment and facilities.
Assign, prioritize, and monitor maintenance work orders for timely repairs and maintenance.
Oversee maintenance parts inventory and manage external contractors and vendors.
Ensure maintenance records, safety compliance, and regulatory requirements are met.
