Job summary

Masis Staffing Solutions is hiring production workers for a large food manufacturing plant in the Martinsville area.1st shift: 6am–3pm; 2nd shift: 3pm–12am with weekly pay and overtime potential.

Responsibilities include sorting, dipping, packing, weighing, labeling, and assisting in other packaging-related tasks. Candidates should be able to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lb, and work in a cold environment while maintaining GMP/HAACP standards.

Qualifications

• Able to work in a cold temperature environment.
• Ability to read scales and perform basic arithmetic.
• Ability to do basic math and measurements.
• Team-based work environment.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Able to push/pull 25 lbs carts.
• Able to stand 100% of shift.

Responsibilities

• Process food products by sorting, dipping, packing and weighing.
• Assist in preparing product for packaging and labeling.
• Inspect raw product for nonconformities and place on pallet for packaging.
• Follow GMP/HAACP procedures and keep work area clean and organized.
• May assist other departments as needed.

Job description

Now hiring production workers for a large food manufacturing plant in the Martinsville area.

Shift/Pay:
1st shift: M-F 6am-3pm $17.80/hr

2nd shift: M-F 3pm-12am $18.80/hr

We pay weekly!

This role will require extended hours based on production needs, including work to be performed after regular business hours and on weekends.

We are looking for support processing food products by sorting, dipping, packing, weighing; as well as assisting in other tasks to prepare product for packaging.

Duties will include but not limited to inspecting raw product for nonconformities in quality, box by weight and placing on pallet to be stored for packaging.

Labeling boxes with product specification, assist in the removal of casing and dipping of uncased products, assist in the separating, bagging, and boxing of cheese sticks, keeping work area clean and organized, following GMP/HAACP procedures, may assist in other departments if needed.
