Job summary

Masis Stafing Solutions is hiring production workers for a large food manufacturing plant in the Martinsville area. 2nd shift, M-F 3pm-12am, $18.80/hr. This role may require extended hours based on production needs, including after hours and weekends.

Responsibilities include processing food products by sorting, dipping, packing, weighing, and assisting in packaging prep. You will inspect raw product for quality, label boxes, and help keep GMP/HAACP standards.

Qualifications

• Able to work in a cold temperature environment.
• Ability to test and read scales.
• Ability to do basic math.
• Ability to work in a team-based environment.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Able to push/pull 1250 lbs carts.
• Able to stand 100% of shift.

Responsibilities

• Inspect raw product for nonconformities in quality.
• Box by weight and place on pallet for packaging.
• Label boxes with product specification.
• Assist in removal of casing and dipping of uncased products.
• Assist in separating, bagging, and boxing of cheese sticks.
• Keep work area clean and organized; follow GMP/HAACP procedures.
• May assist in other departments if needed.

Shift/Pay: 2nd shift: M-F 3pm-12am $18.80/hr

This role will require extended hours based on production needs, including work to be performed after regular business hours and on weekends.

We are looking for support processing food products by sorting, dipping, packing, weighing; as well as assisting in other tasks to prepare product for packaging.

Duties will include but not limited to inspecting raw product for nonconformities in quality, box by weight and placing on pallet to be stored for packaging.

Labeling boxes with product specification, assist in the removal of casing and dipping of uncased products, assist in the separating, bagging, and boxing of cheese sticks, keeping work area clean and organized, following GMP/HAACP procedures, may assist in other departments if needed.
