C-P Flexible Packaging is a fast-growing manufacturer specializing in flexible packaging for the food industry. The company offers premium pay on top of base pay and bonus opportunities.

The Quality Operations Technician will join the Quality team on the 7am-7pm shift, ensuring quality, food safety, and esthetics of products while following GMP, SQF, and SOPs. Responsibilities include CCP monitoring, documentation, and on-the-spot problem solving.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years’ experience in printing, food or regulated industry with GMP knowledge.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office package software.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent time management and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and identify critical control points (CCP) within processes.
• Monitor processes and product food safety and quality throughout manufacturing.
• Document and file relevant logs and records accurately.
• Ensure recipe guidelines are met during processing.
• Ensure staff follow all Food Safety and worker safety practices.
• Educate employees on quality expectations.
• Collect product samples for the Quality lab.
• Inspect in-process printing for quality and accuracy per specs.
• Identify non-conformances and correct them in real time when feasible.
• Collaborate with Operations on presses, slitter, lamination for improvements.
• Keep paperwork accurate and timely on production lines.
