Job summary

Girard's Foodservice Dressings is seeking a full-time production associate to support material and product flow across all production areas. The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and adherence to food safety practices.

You will assist with start-up/shut-down of equipment, packaging, quality inspections, and sanitation. Strong teamwork and the ability to adapt to varying shifts and tasks are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or related work experience.
• Strong verbal, listening, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work with multiple departments across the company.
• Willingness to work off shifts, weekends, and holidays if required.
• Self-directed with good attendance.
• Knowledge of manufacturing environment and practices.

Responsibilities

• Dump empty bottles into hoppers, load bottles onto conveyors and prepare packaging lines.
• Assist in start-up and shut down of production equipment.
• Stack full cases onto pallets to maintain productivity and quality.
• Load product into cartons and ensure proper packaging.
• Follow all safety standards and operate safely.
• Document duties in the computer-based system and maintain records.
• Perform quality inspections per specifications and report discrepancies.
• Conduct cleaning and sanitation duties as assigned.
• Follow written and verbal production instructions and priorities.
• Assist in finding coverage for shifts to fill absences and vacations.
• Maintain good working relationships with co-workers, warehouse personnel, and supervisors.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
