The operator conducts routine checks, adjusts machinery, and records data to ensure accurate labeling and packaging. A high school diploma or GED and 1–2 years in food manufacturing are required, with strong troubleshooting and math skills core to daily tasks.

• Operates production equipment safely and efficiently to meet production/waste goals.
• Completes all required documents and checklists related to equipment operation.
• Interprets work orders to ensure proper materials and specifications are followed.
• Troubleshoots and resolves basic-to-moderate operation difficulties.
• Ensures coffee has adequate time to gas-off.
• Performs change-overs and coordinates required supplies to packaging line.
• Uses computer to access coffee bin and print item labels.
• Programs packaging machine based on manufacturing specs.
• Adjusts packaging equipment for correct case size and packaging weight.
• Manages packaging process: closing boxes, labeling, and sending through tape machine.
• Performs visual, weight, and seal inspections of packages.
• Identifies and segregates nonconforming goods.
• Moves boxes from conveyor to pallets; records pallet data.
• Records downtime and submits maintenance requests as needed.
• Cleans machines and work area to prevent dust on line.
• Checks packaging machines and completes changeover sheets for bags on line.
• Collects and submits samples for quality assurance.
• Follows quality and safety protocols with PPE and clean work areas.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
