Job summary

Westrock Coffee Company is seeking a Machine Operator to set up, run, and monitor high-speed food processing and packaging lines in Conway, AR. You will perform routine checks, adjust equipment, and ensure adherence to food safety standards while working in a fast-paced team environment.

Responsibilities include operating machinery safely, documenting procedures, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining packaging accuracy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of experience in food manufacturing.
• Strong communication skills: spoken, written, listening and instruction-following.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Operates production equipment safely and efficiently to meet production and waste goals.
• Completes all required documents and checklists and reports malfunctions.
• Interprets work orders and instructions to follow materials specifications.
• Troubleshoots and resolves basic-to-moderate operation issues.
• Ensures coffee gas-off time is adequate.
• Performs change-overs and coordinates with line support for materials.
• Programs packaging machines using the touchscreen and specs sheet.
• Adjusts packaging to handle correct case size and coffee per package.
• Manages packaging process: closes boxes, labels, and routes on the line.
• Performs routine quality checks and separates nonconforming goods.
• Moves boxes to pallets and records pallet data for traceability.
• Records downtime and submits maintenance requests as needed.
• Cleans machines and work area to minimize dust and maintain safety.
