Westrock Coffee in Conway, AR is seeking a Machine Operator to setup, run, and monitor high-speed food processing and packaging equipment. You will perform routine checks, adjust packaging lines for correct weights, and ensure quality and safety standards are met throughout the shift.

The role requires 1-2 years in food manufacturing, strong troubleshooting, teamwork, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1-2 years of experience in a food manufacturing environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively including speaking, writing, listening and taking instructions.
• Good leadership and training skills.

Responsabilidades

• Operates production equipment safely and efficiently to hit production/waste goals.
• Completes required documents and checklists related to equipment operation.
• Interprets work orders to ensure proper materials and specifications are followed.
• Troubleshoots and resolves basic-to-moderate operation difficulties.
• Ensures coffee has had adequate time to gas-off.
• Completes change-over sheet and coordinates delivery of film, filters, and boxes.
• Uses computer to access coffee bin and print correct item labels.
• Programs packaging machine based on manufacturing specification sheet.
• Adjusts packaging equipment for appropriate case size and package weight.
• Manages packaging: closing boxes, labeling, and sending through tape.
• Performs visual, weight, and seal inspections of packages.
• Identifies nonconforming goods for proper disposition.
• Moves boxes to pallets and completes pallet tickets.
• Records downtime with explanation and submits maintenance requests when needed.
• Cleans machines and work area to prevent dust on the line.
• Checks packaging machines and completes changeover sheets for bags.
• Collects samples for quality assurance purposes.
• Follows quality and safety protocols, uses PPE, maintains cleanliness.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
