Job summary

Gehl Foods in Germantown, WI, is hiring a Packaging Operator for the 2nd shift. Mon-Fri 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM. You will operate secondary packaging equipment, ensure GMP compliance, and maintain accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• 6 months previous manufacturing, packaging, or assembly line production experience.
• Demonstrated organizational and observational skills, and detail-oriented.
• Basic mathematical calculation skills.
• Demonstrated ability to read, write and listen to written and oral instructions in English.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Operates secondary packaging equipment meeting safety, quality, and customer specifications.
• Performs cleaning, inspection, and lubrication tasks.
• Supports start-up, troubleshooting, and line changes; clears jams and reports issues.
• Applies labels to finished goods and pallets; maintains logs and MES data.
• Ensures compliance with GMPs and safety standards.
