Job summary

Hire Sync in Solon, OH is seeking Machine Operators to join a growing, well-established food manufacturing and packaging operation. Operators will run automated packaging equipment for snack products and ensure quality and safety standards are met on every shift.

Multiple operator levels are available, with opportunities to learn setups, adjustments, and basic maintenance while advancing your skills in a fast-paced production environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in machine operating, manufacturing, or packaging is preferred.
• Ability to learn machine setups, adjustments, and basic troubleshooting.
• Good reading comprehension and basic math abilities.
• Ability to read measurements and product specifications.
• Mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic knowledge is a plus for advanced levels.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize responsibilities.
• Strong attention to quality and detail.
• Tow motor experience or certification may be required for certain levels.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and handle packaging materials up to 75 lbs.
• Able to stand, climb stairs/ladders, and stay active through shift.
• Dependable attendance and commitment to safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor automated packaging and production equipment.
• Operate form, fill, and seal packaging machinery and read specifications.
• Stage materials, monitor production, and adjust as needed for quality.
• Inspect finished packages for correct product, weight, seal, label, and quality.
• Perform changeovers and assist with machine setups; troubleshoot basic issues.
• Assemble cartons, package finished bags, seal cases, and palletize.
• Verify weights and label finished cartons and pallets accurately.
• Complete required production, quality, and machine documentation.
• Notify maintenance if equipment issues require attention.
• Maintain clean work areas and follow GMPs and safety procedures.
