Newly Weds Foods is seeking a General Labor to support production and packaging operations. You will dump ingredients, bag products, stack finished goods, and ensure accurate labeling while maintaining a clean, safe, and compliant work environment.

Roles may rotate across lines per shift supervisor instructions. Responsibilities include operating packaging equipment, verifying batch details, and assisting with inventory control.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in food manufacturing or packaging is preferred.
• Ability to operate packaging and warehouse equipment (scales, label printers, forklifts).
• Forklift certification may be required (training provided).
• Basic math and reading skills for verifying product, labels, and batch information.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Operate packaging equipment including bagging machines, scales, and label printers.
• Dump and verify ingredients per batch tickets for recipe accuracy.
• Load materials into hoppers and assist with blending.
• Ensure correct filling, weighing, sealing, and labeling of products.
• Verify batch numbers, product codes, and labels match the product.
• Monitor metal detectors and ensure products pass inspection.
• Stack finished bags on pallets according to specifications.
• Assist across production lines as needed.
• Maintain product integrity and packaging standards.
• complete required paperwork accurately and assist with inventory cycles.
