Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Cook at Edward Hospital in Naperville. You will prepare patient meals, cafeteria and catered items, while maintaining strict sanitation and food safety standards in a fast-paced hospital kitchen.

This full-time role runs 12pm–8:30pm with rotating weekends and holidays. Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED (or two years of institutional cooking experience) and ANSI Food Handler Certification within 30 days of start.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED or a minimum of two years of cooking experience in an institutional setting
• Certification: Food Handler Training Certificate Program (ANSI Accredited) within 30 days of start date of position for employees working on their ServSafe Manager Certificate (ANSI)

Responsibilities

• The cook prepares specified menu items for patients, cafeteria, catered services and ensures adherence to sanitation, safety and food handling procedures.
