Role Description

Reports To: Sanitation Manager

Location: Allerton, Iowa

Start Date: ASAP

Schedule: 12-hour shifts (5 pm to 5 am) with weekends required

The Sanitation Technician performs daily sanitation tasks according to the master schedule and monitors activities for completion.

Role Responsibilities

• Perform sanitation activities as scheduled.
• Assist the Production Manager with additional sanitation tasks.
• Monitor and maintain sanitation supplies inventory.
• Ensure sanitation logs are complete and accurate; alert managers if issues arise.
• Support Production Operators during CIP and scheduled cleaning.
• Complete logs for cleaning, sanitation, and materials as per SOPs.
• Perform general facility cleaning and sanitation functions.
• Operate forklifts for material movement as needed.
• Perform other duties as directed by the Sanitation Manager.

Skills & Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Sanitation certification.
• Self-disciplined, team player, capable of handling emergencies, maintaining personal cleanliness, and following GMPs.
• Ability to understand and follow sanitation procedures, chemical concentrations, and safety protocols.
• Ability to handle chemical storage containers using lift equipment.
