Job summary

Mama’s Creations, Inc. is seeking a hands-on Food Safety & Quality Technician to uphold our “Grandma Quality” standard.

You’ll partner with the Supervisor to guide Associates, maintain airtight FSQA records, and support audit readiness while production hums. You will perform pre-operational inspections, in-process checks, and finished product evaluations, ensuring sanitation verification and environmental monitoring trends are reviewed thoroughly.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of QA/FSQA experience in food manufacturing.
• Knowledge of HACCP, GMPs, and foundational microbiology.
• Comfort navigating FDA and USDA regulations.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical food safety training a plus.

Responsibilities

• Pre-operational inspections, in-process checks, and finished product evaluations.
• Verification of sanitation completion; review of environmental monitoring outcomes.
• Accurate FSQA recordkeeping and assistance preparing for audits.
• On‑the‑floor training of Associates in inspection and documentation best practices.
• Immediate reporting of deviations and collaboration on root cause analysis.

Work environment & physical demands

• Capable of standing, bending, and lifting up to 40 lbs.
• Work in cold and hot production areas while consistently wearing PPE.
