Job summary

Mama’s Creations, Inc. is seeking a Food Safety & Quality Technician in New Jersey to support daily FSQA tasks and uphold company standards. You will assist in training Associates and ensuring adherence to HACCP and GMP guidelines as part of a dynamic quality team.

The role involves performing inspections, environmental monitoring, and maintaining FSQA records, with opportunities to contribute to audits and process improvements in a fast-paced facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in food safety preferred.
• 2+ years of FSQA or QA experience in food manufacturing.
• Familiarity with HACCP, GMPs, and basic microbiological concepts.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-op inspections, in-process checks, and finished product evaluations.
• Verify sanitation completion and environmental monitoring results.
• Maintain accurate FSQA records and assist with audit preparation.
• Train Associates on proper inspection techniques and documentation.
• Report deviations and assist in root cause analysis.

Position Summary:

The Food Safety & Quality Technician acts as a hands-on resource for daily food safety and quality checks, ensuring compliance with enterprise standards and Grandma Quality expectations. This role supports the Supervisor in training and guiding Associates.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform pre-op inspections, in-process checks, and finished product evaluations.
