Job summary

Vantage Specialty Chemicals is seeking a Production Supervisor based in Pittsburgh, PA. You will lead a crew to achieve site goals, emphasizing safety, continuous improvement and team development across multiple production processes.

You will train and coach staff, ensure GMP, HACCP and SQF compliance, coordinate batching and material handling, and drive efficiency and quality in daily operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Business, Chemical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering or related field; 3+ years in similar environment.
• Experience in foods manufacturing; union environment.
• Knowledge of HACCP and SQF fundamentals; food safety emphasis.

Responsibilities

• Lead production crew to meet safety, performance, and quality goals.
• Coordinate batching and processing areas per quality specs.
• Develop staff through training and coaching.
• Maintain SQF and safety manuals; implement continuous improvement.
• Monitor production schedules and budget objectives.
