General Mills is seeking a Manufacturing Process and Packaging Engineer to provide technical leadership and develop the team’s packaging and processing capabilities on the production floor. The role focuses on daily problem solving, on‑floor activities, and building trust with operators, technicians and maintenance teams.

As you grow, you will expand skills in system utilization, loss elimination, and data-driven decision making to improve performance and product quality across the platform.

Formación

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or related field; applicable experience.
• 1+ years of related experience.
• Knowledge of manufacturing systems and unit operations.
• Data and manufacturing performance metrics analysis.
• Consumer products or process industry experience.
• Statistical analysis and analytical methods.
• Mechanical aptitude and general engineering principles.
• Demonstrated leadership and collaborative work style.
• Experience reducing losses and improving performance on the line.

Responsabilidades

• Lead safety initiatives and uphold Safety 2.0 standards.
• Troubleshoot on-floor activities to build team capability.
• Drive loss elimination and continuous improvement tasks.
• Provide startup support and operation knowledge.
• Develop understanding of 4M interactions on the floor.
