Job summary

Manpower is seeking a Laboratory Technician I for our food industry client in Marysville, OH. You will support Science & Analytical Projects, perform routine testing, sample preparation, and provide general lab support following established methods and Good Laboratory Practices.

The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma or GED with experience, or an Associate degree/B.S. in a science field, and strong attention to detail, reliability, and good communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma (or GED) with three years of related experience, or an Associate degree or B.S. in a Science-related field with one year of related experience.
• Reliability and accountability in completing tasks accurately and on time.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely.
• Good communication skills and computer literacy.
• Commitment to safety and quality standards in a laboratory environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine analytical testing, sample preparation, and general lab support per established methods.
• Manage samples by receiving, processing, tracking, preparing, shipping, and disposing of requests.
• Perform routine chemical and physical testing on food-grade samples to ensure quality and safety standards.
• Coordinate with project managers, scientists, and lab staff to organize weekly workload.
• Accurately record results, enter data into systems, generate routine reports, and maintain documentation.
