Your Role As A Line Cook/Expo:

Our Line Cooks are the "Heart" of the Customer's dining experience, being inspired to create and execute our amazing menu offerings, and plate the meals in an "eye-watering" appearance - both will entice our guests to return! Ryan's is dedicated to your success by providing training and professional development, regardless of how long your journey with us is.

Job Description/ Responsibilities:
  • Prepare ingredients, cook, and assemble dishes as indicated by standard recipes.
  • Ability to work in different areas of the kitchen (prep, fry, grill, pizza, sauté, expo).
  • Perform portion control and minimize waste to keep the cost within the forecasted range.
  • Ensure that all dishes are prepared in a timely manner.
  • Maintain a clean workstation area as per restaurant protocols, including kitchen equipment, tables, and shelves.
  • Comply with applicable sanitary, health, and personal hygiene standards.
  • Ensure quality and freshness of ingredients and products we serve.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by the line supervisor, sous-chef, or executive chef.

Candidate Requirements:
  • Legal age and older.
  • Trustworthy transportation to travel to work.
  • Be available to work evenings and weekends and work as scheduled.
  • Maintain a professional attitude and appearance.
  • Cooking experience preferred.
  • Ability to use restaurant POS.
  • Serv-Safe preferred.
