Job Title: Expeditor/Food Runner – Café Meredith

Reports to: Dining Room Manager

Department: Café Meredith

Location: The Union League of Philadelphia (140 S Broad St, Philadelphia, PA 19102)

Description:

We are looking for an expeditor and food runner to support our serving staff and set up/break down our kitchen. Responsibilities include organizing and prepping station for service, organization of tickets and expo line, running and serving plates, and assisting in clearing tables. If you enjoy a fast-paced level of working environment and want to develop your career in dining, we would love to meet you.

To summarize, you will ensure our daily flow of service runs smoothly and our members have a pleasant, seamless dining experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare expo line and products before service
  • Keeping an organized station
  • Ability to clearly read and maintain the ticket board and monitor table service
  • Ability to carry trays up stairs
  • Run food to tables and communicate with members about the food
  • Maintain health and safety regulations at all kitchen and dining areas
