True Harmony Company is seeking a Food & Facility Services Technician to join our team in Ely, Nevada. This on-site role combines basic meal preparation with routine cleaning, sanitation, and supply stocking to support a safe and welcoming workplace. The position runs Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.

to 3:30 p.m. with occasional holidays and weekends. Benefits include 100% company-paid medical and life insurance, dental and vision coverage, and PTO with progressive increases, plus a $250 performance

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize offices, restrooms, kitchens, and equipment.
• Prepare and serve breakfast and lunch for leadership daily and for 50+ onsite employees on designated days.
• Track supplies, perform inventory, and maintain logs and sanitation records.
• Follow all food-safety, allergen-awareness, and PPE requirements.

About the Role

The Food and Facility Services Technician helps maintain a clean, sanitary, and welcoming workplace. This hands-on position combines basic meal preparation with routine facility cleaning, sanitation, waste removal, and supply stocking. The role prepares and serves two simple daily meals for the leadership team and, on designated days, lunches for more than 50 onsite employees.

Core Duties & Responsibilities

• Help with clean and sanitize offices, work areas, restrooms, kitchens, equipment, and other assigned structures using approved procedures and products.


• Prepare and serve breakfast and lunch for the leadership team daily, and, on authorized days, lunches for up to 50+ onsite employees.


• Sweep, mop, remove waste, recycle, break down cardboard, stock supplies, and clean high-touch surfaces as scheduled.


• Own simple menu planning, grocery shopping, ordering, receiving, food storage, and food inventory within approved budgets and guidance.


• Follow all food-safety, sanitation, allergen-awareness, temperature-control, and personal-hygiene requirements.


• Track cleaning products, sanitation supplies, kitchen supplies, and general inventory; report shortages and submit requests through the established process.


• Complete required cleaning schedules, sanitation logs, food-service records, and other assigned documentation accurately and on time.


• Coordinate routine service timing with the manager and communicate facility, supply, equipment, safety, or staffing concerns promptly.


• Safely use, label, store, and dispose of cleaning chemicals; follow PPE requirements, product labels, SDS guidance, and company safety procedures.


• Assist with preparing and restoring work areas before and after company events, projects, or operational activities.


• Occasionally clean and stock onsite housing for employee move-ins and move-outs and clean company vehicles as assigned.


• Assist new employees or temporary staff with routine cleaning and kitchen procedures when directed by the manager; this does not include supervisory authority.


• Perform other related duties as assigned within the general scope of the position.

Job Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.


• 1+ year of experience in janitorial services and cooking/foodpreparation.


• Experience preparing simple meals for groups and following standardized recipes or menus.


• ServSafe Food Handler and ServSafe Manager certification, or equivalent, or ability to obtain required certifications within 90 days of hire.


• Basic knowledge of food handling, preparation, nutrition, allergen awareness, workplace cleaning, and sanitation practices.


• Ability to pass required background checks and obtain and maintain a CCB-issued Agent Card for work in a cannabis facility.


• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record if driving is assigned as an essential duty.

Physical Requirements

• Stand and walk for extended periods, up to eight hours per shift.


• Frequently bend, squat, twist, reach, and perform repetitive motions such as mopping, stirring, and lifting trays.


• Safely climb ladders or steps and regularly lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.


• Use sufficient manual dexterity to handle utensils, cleaning tools, equipment, and inventory.


• Work onsite in a cannabis greenhouse environment with temperatures generally ranging from 60 to 90 degrees Fahrenheit and periods of high humidity.


• Occasionally work outdoors for waste removal, vehicle cleaning, housing support, or event setup.


• Work around wet or slippery floors, hoses, drains, irrigation systems, HVAC equipment, fans, and intermittent operational noise.


• Potential exposure to cleaning chemicals, plant particulates, dust, mold spores, cannabis resin, food allergens, standing water, bacteria, fungi, powders, sprays, and concentrated cleaning agents.


• Required to follow PPE, SDS, chemical-safety, food-safety, ergonomic, and slip-trip-fall prevention practices at all times.
