Job summary

Aafes at Fort Bragg offers a development program to learn the full scope of facility operations under guidance from an experienced Manager. The role supports daily food facility operations while gaining hands-on experience in supervision, customer service, staffing, and training.

You will also build the financial and business acumen needed to run a successful facility. Selected associates must affirm mobility and be available for relocation to any Exchange location within the Eastern Region

Qualifications

Must obtain ServSafe certification within 90 days of program completion or placement.

Responsibilities

Assists in the daily operation of a food facility to ensure compliance with Exchange policies, procedures, safety standards, and operational requirements.
Participates in structured training activities to develop operational, leadership, and supervisory competencies.
Supports customer service operations by promoting service standards and assisting in the resolution of customer concerns.
Assists with financial and business operations, including monitoring sales performance, supporting inventory control, cash handling, and expense management.
Collaborates with the Exchange leadership to identify operational issues and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Demonstrates professionalism, accountability, and adaptability while acquiring the knowledge and skills required for placement into a permanent retail management position.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
