Job summary

Aafes is seeking candidates for a development program that builds operational leadership across Exchange services, retail, food, vending, telecommunications, and health & wellness. The role offers hands-on supervision training and exposure to daily service operations within an assigned area of responsibility.

Selected associates must relocate as required after program completion and complete required training within specified time frames to prepare for placement into a permanent retail

Qualifications

• Qualifications depend on the targeted role and align with Exchange standards.
• Mobility and willingness to relocate to any Exchange location after the program.
• Complete Services Business Manager Contract Administration and Surveillance training within 7 days.
• Complete ServSafe certification within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Assist daily operations of service facilities ensuring policy compliance and standards.
• Participate in structured training to develop operational, leadership, and supervisory competencies.
• Support customer service operations and resolve concerns.
• Assist with financial and business operations: monitor sales, inventory, cash handling, and expenses.
• Collaborate with Exchange leadership to identify issues and drive improvements.
• Demonstrate professionalism, accountability, and adaptability for permanent retail management placement.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
