Job summary

Half Liter Brewery, Bar, & BBQ in Indianapolis, IN is seeking an Expeditor to help ensure a smooth workflow between the kitchen and the wait staff. You will multitask, ensure orders are prepared in the correct sequence, and present each plate attractively for guests.

The role requires teamwork, adherence to health standards, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and standing for long shifts in a fast-paced environment. This full-time position offers benefits and participates in tip sharing.

Qualifications

• Must have good written and verbal communication.
• Know Department of Health standards and comply with them.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long shifts.
• Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment and work well with others.

Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth workflow between kitchen and wait staff.
• Manage order sequencing to ensure correct prep order.
• Ensure plates are garnished and presentable for guests.
• Run food when the line is busy.
• Keep sauces and garnishments stocked at start/end of shift.
• Break down containers and assist with line cleanup at close.
• Maintain a clean line throughout shift.
