Job summary

Maverik is seeking a Food Execution Manager to lead food programs across the region. This field-based role partners with Store Directors and District Managers to train teams, strengthen food safety, and support new store openings and remodels.

Travel ~50% with candidates based in St. George, UT or Las Vegas, NV. Responsibilities include coaching, program deployment, and collaboration with operations to maximize sales while maintaining safety standards.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years progressive experience in foodservice, food safety, food handling or related role.
  • Experience with Excel, Windows, POS, QSR systems, etc.
  • Knowledge of food preparation and safe and sanitary handling principles and regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Cultivate Maverik culture between food service team and operations to ensure consistent training and execution.
  • Develop and maintain food safety programs and SOPs for Maverik Foodservice and related brands.
  • Provide coaching during regular store visits for store teams and leadership.
  • Verify planograms, signage and proper ordering levels with the operations team.
  • Support new stores and remodels with training and setup of foodservice areas.
  • Participate in district level meetings on food and safety topics.
  • Support launch of new food initiatives and training materials.
  • Coach on using Kitchen Production System (KPS).

As a Food Execution Manager, you’ll be out in the field partnering with store teams, Store Directors, and District Managers to bring Maverik’s food programs to life across your region. From coaching teams and strengthening food safety to supporting new store openings, remodels, and new food initiatives, no two days will look exactly the same. Why this role matters

The Food Execution Manager helps ensure Maverik’s food programs are executed safely, consistently, and profitably across the region. By coaching store teams, strengthening food safety and operational standards, and supporting new food initiatives, this role directly impacts the guest experience, store performance, and success of Maverik’s food business.

Location/Schedule

This is a field‑based position supporting Maverik stores throughout the assigned region. The role requires approximately 50% travel, including occasional overnight travel, and candidates must be based in St. George, Utah, or Las Vegas, Nevada.

  • Cultivate a 1Maverik culture between food service team and operations to ensure consistent program training and execution.
  • Develop, administer, and maintain applicable food safety programs and policies and related standard operating procedures for Maverik’s Foodservice, BonFire™ Grill and Cinnabon
  • Provide coaching and guidance based on findings during regular store visits for the food service store team, leadership, and District Managers.
  • Partner with the operations team to verify planograms, signage and proper ordering levels are being implemented and adhered to.
  • Responsible for supporting new stores and remodels by providing store training and foodservice area set up.
  • Participate in district level meetings to discuss food and safety related topics.
  • Support the launch and implementation of new food initiatives, including rollout of new training materials.
  • Actively engages with the Food Service initiatives, ensuring policies and procedures are followed that maximize sales and productivity while managing waste and ensuring food safety.
  • Provide coaching and training around using Kitchen Production System (KPS).

You’llbe a great fit for this adventure if you have:
  • 2+ years progressive experience in foodservice, food safety, food handling or related role.
  • Experience with (Excel, Windows, POS, QSR, etc.)
  • Knowledge of food preparation and safe and sanitary food handling principles and regulations
  • Self-starter with strong teambuilding, critical thinking, public speaking, and interpersonal skills
Bonus points if you also bring:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, Food Science, or Business Administration preferred. An associate degree in a related field will also be considered.
Compensation & Benefits
Pay Range:

$70,000-$80,000 + DOE and Bonus Opportunities

The above salary rangerepresentsa general guideline; however, Maverik considersa number offactors whendeterminingbase salary offers, such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidates experience, education, skills, and current market conditions.
