Job summary

Walmart is hiring a Specialty Equipment Food Technician in Garden Grove, CA to diagnose, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on our specialty equipment across a regional area. You will develop maintenance schedules, complete PMs, and train Store Associates on equipment care.

Requirements include 5+ years of service experience in commercial maintenance, with valid driver’s license and ability to read blueprints. This is a full-time role with competitive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

2 years' experience in plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related area with vocational/technical cert.
4 years' experience in plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related area.
Valid state-issued driver's license and ability to pass a motor vehicle report.

Responsibilities

Maintain Preventative Maintenance for all General Maintenance trades in a region of ~28 Walmart stores.
Complete and adhere to all training requirements to operate and maintain food service equipment.
Log into and use work order management system to accept and complete requests.
