Job description

Location : San Diego, CA (Remote work option available)

We are a provider of over 40 premium, all-natural sweet and savory flavors, purees, concentrates, and blends. Our products are sold through various distributors and cater to the foodservice, hospitality, manufacturers, and consumers.

Responsibilities :

Take charge of the CA, NV, and AZ territory.

Establish and maintain relationships with existing distributors, while also expanding our network in the territory. Identify opportunities to generate revenue with distributor accounts. Explore new business possibilities by leveraging sales reporting, online research, event leads, and other resources. Keep track of customer engagements using Salesforce.

Work closely with the Director of Sales to assess monthly, quarterly, and annual regional sales. Provide input for annual budget planning. Review communication strategies to ensure operational support requirements are met. Oversee the development of regional manufacturers.

Supervise the West Sales Account Manager.

Expect to travel approximately 50% of the time. Convenient airport accessibility.

Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree required.

Minimum of 3 years of sales experience in the foodservice distributor industry.

Demonstrated skills in sales and account management.

Strong negotiation abilities, along with exceptional organizational, time management, and project management skills.

Ability to handle multiple projects concurrently, meet deadlines, and work within approved budgets.

Familiarity with CRM software ( or equivalent).

Proficiency in the use of MS Office Suite.

Compensation :

Base salary of $80K plus a 20% biannual bonus. We offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes 100% company-paid medical, dental, vision, and life insurance. Also included are an Employee Assistance Program (EAP), 401K with profit sharing of approximately 12% annually, 11 paid holidays, vacation time, and company-provided equipment such as a laptop, docking station, cell phone, and company credit card. Mileage reimbursement is provided.
