Job description

Remote Position - Flexibility to reside in Phoenix, AZ or surrounding areas within the sales territory (CA, NV, AZ)

We are a provider of more than 40 premium, all-natural sweet and savory flavors, purees, concentrates, and blends. Our products are distributed to foodservice, hospitality, manufacturers, and consumers through our network of distributors.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Manage and expand the client base in the CA, NV, and AZ territory.
  • Cultivate relationships with existing distributors while identifying opportunities to generate revenue.
  • Identify and onboard new distributors within the territory using various research methods, sales reporting, online resources, and event leads.
  • Utilize Salesforce or similar CRM system to document all customer engagement.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Sales to review monthly, quarterly, and annual sales data for the region, as well as provide input for the territory's annual budget.
  • Develop and implement a communication strategy to address operational support needs.
  • Oversee the development of regional manufacturer leads.
  • Provide supervision and guidance to the West Sales Account Manager.
  • Approximately 50% travel required with convenient access to airports.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales specifically targeting foodservice distributors.
  • Strong sales and account management skills.
  • Excellent negotiation skills and proficient in organizational, time, and project management.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects, meet deadlines, and adhere to approved budgets.
  • Familiarity with CRM software such as or similar systems.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite.

Compensation and Benefits :

  • Base salary of $80K plus a 20% bi-annual bonus.
