Job summary

Shamrock Foods Company in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to plan, direct and coordinate activities in our Food Service Distribution Warehouse. You will lead a team of 10–30 associates, ensure safety, accuracy, and efficiency in receiving, put-away, picking and loading, and collaborate with Logistics, Scheduling, Purchasing, Sales and Transportation.

The ideal candidate will have a strong safety mindset, superior communication skills, and a proven record in process documentation

Qualifications

• High school diploma, minimum 3 years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong people skills.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate effectively with all levels of associates and teams.
• Strong commitment and established track record of processes documentation and improvement.
• Must be able to work the demands of the department which are subject to overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Physical Demands: Regularly standing and walking.
• Vision Requirements: observe surroundings, packages, and labels.

Responsibilities

• Advising Associates on safety and ensuring safe work practices.
• Communicating with Logistics, Scheduling, Purchasing, Sales and Transportation.
• Ensuring policies and procedures are followed and security incidents reduced.
• Assigning workers to duties such as verifying quantities and putting away merchandise.
• Advising associates on care and preservation of product to reduce inventory losses.
• Supervising 10–30 associates on warehouse protocol.
• Performing other duties as assigned to meet business needs.
