Job summary

LHH Recruitment Solutions in Richmond, VA is seeking a Warehouse Manager to lead a high-volume food distribution operation. You will oversee daily warehousing, supervise supervisors and hourly staff, and drive optimization of inventory, distribution processes, and ERP-driven initiatives.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree preferred.
5+ years of warehouse management experience in food distribution or related environments.
Proven success leading large warehouse teams in fast-paced operations.
Strong experience with ERP/WMS systems and data-driven improvements.
Change management and continuous improvement experience.

Responsibilities

Lead all warehouse operations including receiving, inventory control, order fulfillment, shipping, and distribution.
Coach and develop supervisors and warehouse staff to achieve goals.
Drive change initiatives related to process improvements and system enhancements.
Partner with Transportation, Supply Chain, Customer Service, Procurement, and Operations teams.
Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, regulatory, and company standards.
Utilize ERP data and KPIs to improve inventory accuracy, productivity, and service levels.
Lead workforce planning, scheduling, performance management, and employee development.
