Dollar General is seeking a Manager on Duty to oversee the Food Department and overall store operations. You will ensure efficient inventory management, appealing merchandise presentation, and strong customer service while maintaining a safe work environment and asset protection.

Responsibilities include staff training, cash control, scheduling, and adherence to food handling regulations. This role emphasizes leadership during Manager on Duty shifts and collaboration with Store and Assistant

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2–3 years of retail clerk experience.
• Previous lead experience and/or grocery store experience preferred.
• Attainment of required local and state food handling certifications, if applicable.

Responsabilidades

• Manage the Food Department and the total store when designated as the Manager on duty.
• Ensure inventory management and merchandising presentation.
• Provide safe customer service and protect company assets.
• Provide training to employees and assist in scheduling.
