Job summary

Moody Gardens is hiring for an entry-level Food/Beverage Kitchen role in Galveston. You will prepare all food items for the Aquarium Food Court, following local and Moody Gardens regulations while maintaining quality and portion control.

Responsibilities include accurate portioning, proper temperature control, maintaining sanitation, inventory, and assisting with opening/closing duties. TABC and Food Handlers Certification are required before starting; prior culinary experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Culinary experience preferred.
• Must obtain TABC & Food Handlers Certification prior to starting work.
• Able to work standing for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Prepare all food items per portion sizes and quality standards.
• Maintain equipment cleanliness and sanitation.
• Monitor temperatures and holding times; ensure safety standards.
