Job summary

Walmart in Johnson City, TN is seeking a store leader to supervise and develop associates, drive customer service excellence and implement business initiatives. You will hire, train, mentor, set expectations, and promote a culture of belonging while ensuring compliant operations.

Responsibilities include managing budgeting, forecasting, inventory flow, merchandising, and shrink control to meet sales and profit goals while supporting community programs and living the Walmart values.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ of college; OR 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience; OR 2 years’ general work experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience.
• Associates will be required to attend and successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments (for example, Academy trainings, Open Door trainings, etc.)
• For facilities that sell firearms, CBC and Firearms Authorized Training may be required.

Responsibilities

• Leads and develops teams effectively by teaching training and actively listening to associates, touring stores and providing feedback.
• Drives the financial performance and sales by reviewing PL statements, budgeting, forecasting, and controlling expenses; ensures inventory flow and merchandising meet goals.

Two years of college

Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership (Live Better U)

Certificate of Completion in People and Business Leadership (Live Better U)
