Job summary

Walmart Inc. in Aberdeen, WA is seeking a Store Manager or equivalent to lead and develop teams across store operations. You will hire, train, mentor associates, set clear expectations, and promote a culture of belonging while driving excellent customer service and operational excellence.

The role requires strong leadership, supervisory experience, financial acumen for budgeting and shrink control, and the ability to adapt to change while delivering the One Best Way in daily store operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include: 2 years of college or 1 year of retail experience with 1 year of supervisory experience; or 2 years of general work experience with 1 year of supervisory experience.
• For firearms facilities: successful CBC and firearms training may be required.
• Attendance at required trainings (Academy/Open Door) is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop teams through teaching, training, and feedback to ensure a high-performance store operation.
• Drive store financials by monitoring PL statements, budgeting, forecasting, and controlling expenses to meet sales and profit goals.
• Ensure customer needs and issues are resolved with a focus on exceptional service and the One Best Way (OBW) model.
• Promote a culture of belonging, recruit and develop qualified associates, and uphold Walmart policies and integrity standards.
