Job summary

Meijer is seeking a Food Clerk to deliver friendly, knowledgeable service and maintain attractive, well-organized displays across Fresh departments. You will engage customers, share product details, and help locate items while keeping safety and quality at the forefront.

Ideal candidates bring a customer-first attitude, solid communication, and comfort with store tech. This role involves lifting and standing for long periods in a fast-paced retail environment, with opportunities for growth

Responsibilities

• Maintain full, fresh, and visually appealing product displays.
• Stock, rotate, and merchandise product according to standards.
• Use technology to complete tasks efficiently and accurately.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures.
• Work across departments including Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
