Heartland Food Products Group in Indianapolis, IN, is seeking a Blending Operator to set up and operate blending equipment for food production. You will follow recipes, record batch data, and ensure safety, quality, and efficiency targets are met.

The role requires at least 1 year of mechanical experience in manufacturing, strong communication, and the ability to work with data and operate computerized systems. Training and teamwork are emphasized in a fast-paced environment.

Formación

• High School diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of mechanical experience in manufacturing or maintenance.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to analyze data and make decisions.
• English language proficiency for instructions.

Responsabilidades

• Set up, operate, and tend blending equipment according to recipes.
• Record batch data accurately (ingredients, temperature, time, cycles).
• Troubleshoot equipment and support changeovers as needed.
• Maintain and clean blenders and processing areas.
• Follow safety guidelines and regulatory requirements (SQF, HACCP).
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance per schedule.
• Provide guidance and assistance to other operators.
