The Role

The Food and Beverage Supervisor position is responsible for supporting all food and beverage operations.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in staffing, scheduling, training, and counseling of staff.
  • Directly manage staff while interacting with customers.
  • Maintain and control high-volume food and beverage inventory.
  • Train, educate, and enforce responsible service of alcoholic beverages and evaluate compliance within corporate procedures.
  • Develop and enforce standards for service, sanitation, and product and food quality.
  • Ensure all cash handling procedures are documented and enforced.
  • Interact with co-workers to ensure compliance with company service standards, inventory, and cash control procedures.
  • Conduct physical audits of inventory and products, research, and perform reconciliations.
Qualifications:
  • At least 1 year of team supervision experience in a fast-paced environment such as an event venue, hotel, country club, or restaurant.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Strong attention to detail, highly organized, with excellent time management and prioritization skills.
  • Must meet state and city health requirements for food handling and alcoholic beverage service.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and work extended hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Sufficient mobility for tasks involving reaching, bending, stooping, wiping, pushing, and pulling for extended periods.
