Food & Beverage Supervisor of El Paso Water Parks

Summary: ASM Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an immediate opening for a Food & Beverage (F&B) Supervisor. F&B Supervisors are responsible for welcoming guests and creating a positive, fun environment. Each water park features water slides, climbing walls, lazy rivers, kiddie playgrounds, and leisure pools.

Position Summary

This position reports to management and involves assisting in all areas of Food & Beverage. Responsibilities include coordinating with all departments, ensuring effective operations, managing paperwork and inventory, and maintaining smooth daily operations.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

1. Oversee development and implementation of Food and Beverage training programs, policies, and procedures.
2. Organize and direct approximately 8+ Food and Beverage staff members daily.
3. Coach employees, creating shared understanding, and recognize achievements.
4. Prepare food safely following SOP.
5. Oversee food and beverage operations during events to ensure client satisfaction.
6. Inspect facilities to meet health laws and regulations.
7. Create employee schedules.
8. Maintain proper kitchen flow and monitor inventory levels.
9. Ensure policies and procedures are followed to deliver excellent customer service.
10. Stay current with training policies and enforce safety standards.
11. Assist in maintaining a Health Department score of 90 or higher.
12. Demonstrate attention to detail, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
13. Coordinate inventory and maintain a team-oriented attitude.
14. Conduct audits, supervise staff, and organize equipment for events.
15. Follow sanitation, safety, and OSHA guidelines.
16. Ensure storerooms are organized and secure.
17. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills

• Must be 18+ years old.
• Ability to work independently and with little supervision.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
• Current Food Handler’s license or ability to obtain one.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
• Knowledge of culinary and facilities operations.
• Flexible with working hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Minimum Education & Experience

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 1-2 years of hands-on experience.
• Knowledge of food and beverage practices.

Computer Skills

• Proficient in Windows, Office, and standard office equipment.
• Experience with POS systems preferred.

Physical Demands

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, work in indoor and outdoor environments, and stand or sit for extended periods. Reasonable accommodations available for disabilities.
