Job summary

Montage International’s Pendry brand is seeking a Food & Beverage Supervisor in Washington, DC. Lead and train staff, maintain service standards, and ensure guest satisfaction in a luxury hotel environment.

You will oversee scheduling, inventory, and daily operations, delivering WOW moments for guests while upholding company standards and ensuring a seamless guest experience across shifts.

Qualifications

• One year minimum of experience in food and beverage operations.
• Luxury hotel experience is a plus.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays.
• Intermediate computer skills.
• Prior Micros or other systems experience.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Train new staff and provide ongoing training and development opportunities for existing staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
• Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to ensure sufficient stock levels while minimizing waste.
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and special requests in a professional and timely manner, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Assist management with scheduling, labor controls, and other administrative duties.
• Assist the Department Manager in the development, implementation and maintenance of service standards.
• Ensure food and beverages are being served in a professional and timely manner.
• Monitor setup and maintenance of department to ensure all side work is complete.
• Interact with guests to ensure a positive guest experience.
• Deliver on guests’ expectations and have the desire to create WOW moments.
• Perform additional duties as assigned that may be outside of the normal scope of duties based on business needs.
