Job Description

The Omni Boston Hotel at the Seaport is a luxury property featuring 1,054 rooms, including 52 suites, with amenities such as seven dining outlets, a rooftop pool, a spa, and extensive meeting space. The Restaurant Supervisor is responsible for managing all aspects of restaurant operations, ensuring service excellence and adherence to hotel standards. This role involves supervising staff, maintaining service standards, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and delivering exceptional guest service.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain and improve service standards; ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Perform duties of restaurant staff in their absence; adhere to local contracts.
  • Oversee daily restaurant operations, including event management and cost control.
  • Ensure health, safety, and sanitation standards; prepare for inspections.
  • Supervise sanitation and service timing; ensure quality from kitchen to guest.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all menu items.
  • Ensure cleanliness and safety in food prep and storage areas.
  • Provide positive guest interactions; handle complaints effectively.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership.
Qualifications
  • Minimum two years of progressive experience in Food & Beverage within the hospitality industry.
  • Experience in union environments preferred.
  • Professional demeanor with excellent guest engagement skills.
  • Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
  • Ability to stand or walk for extended periods.
  • Serve Safe certification and unexpired TIPs required.
