MGM Resorts International is seeking an On-Call F&B Utility Porter at Park MGM in Las Vegas, NV. You will help maintain a clean, organized kitchen environment, sanitize equipment, and support supply movement while adhering to health and safety standards.

The ideal candidate has 6+ months of stewarding experience or Culinary Training Academy certification, and must obtain a Food Handler's Card upon hire. This position offers health benefits and meal perks for employees.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• 6+ months of relevant experience in stewarding or similar role or Culinary Training Academy certification preferred.
• Must hold or obtain a valid Food Handler's Card upon hire.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both spoken and written.

Responsibilities

• Clean ceilings, walls, and elevated areas; deep clean cooking equipment.
• Collect, wash, rinse, sanitize, air-dry, and store pots, pans, dishes, glassware, and flatware.
• Maintain chemical detergents and follow cleaning and sanitation procedures.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen areas and equipment (dish/pot machines, prep tables, refrigerators).
• Transport equipment and supplies throughout the property.
• Operate floor scrubbers, pallet jacks, forklifts, and power washers as needed.
• Report equipment issues to a supervisor and complete required trainings.

THE JOB:

As an On-Call F&B Utility Porter at Park MGM, you help keep kitchen operations running smoothly by maintaining a clean, organized environment, sanitizing equipment and dishes, supporting supply movement, and ensuring all health and safety standards are met.

THE STARTING RATE: $25.5502 hourly

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Clean ceilings, walls, and elevated areas; deep clean cooking equipment (charbroilers, griddles, fryers, salamanders)
• Collect, wash, rinse, sanitize, air-dry, and properly store pots, pans, dishes, glassware, and flatware
• Maintain chemical detergents and follow proper cleaning and sanitation procedures
• Clean baseboards, floor drains, sinks, tables, cutting boards, floors, mats, and kitchen equipment (dish/ice/pot machines, prep tables, refrigerators, etc.)
• Separate and remove trash, garbage, and handle biohazard cleanup as needed
• Maintain linen inventory and remove soiled items
• Transport equipment and supplies (hot/cold boxes, racks, carts) throughout the property
• Polish equipment as needed
• Comply with SNHD, OSHA, Fire Department, and company policies and procedures
• Operate industrial equipment (floor scrubbers, pallet jacks, forklifts, trucks, power washers)
• Complete required health and safety trainings
• Report equipment issues to a supervisor

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• 6+ months of prior relevant experience in stewarding or a similar role, or completion of a Culinary Training Academy certification preferred
• Must hold or be able to obtain a valid Food Handler's Card upon hire
• Effectively communicate in English, both oral and written forms
